Temecula has an “old town” where tourists can feel an Old West atmosphere, or they can cross the freeway to where Temecula’s newest homes are being built amid the regions picturesque wineries, inns and bed and breakfasts.  Situated about 1500 feet above sea level, the valley provides ideal conditions for both residents and vineyard grapes with warm daytime temperatures and cool evening breezes. 

Now a world-class wine growing region, the wines of the Temecula Valley have quickly been achieving gold medals in domestic and international wine competitions for its excellent Chardonnay, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Syrah, and Pinot Gris wines.
