Born near Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, and accepted to their law school, Mr. Gibson chose to obtain law degrees from the University of San Diego School of Law (J.D.) and from University College Cardiff in Wales, Great Britain (LL.B Magna Cum Laude). He received his undergraduate degree, a B.A. Cum Laude, from UCLA.

Attorney Sebastian Gibson originally practiced law in San Diego, followed by a number of years of international practice as a lawyer in London, after which he opened his own practice in Palm Springs, California. In 2003 he also became a broker and a Realtor in the Palm Springs Desert area.

In addition to currently practicing law at the state, federal and international levels in California where Sebastian Gibson is an active practicing attorney, he has also practiced law in Nevada, where he is currently inactive, in Washington D.C. where he attended Administrative Law Hearings and was involved with an appeal before the U.S. Supreme Court and where he regularly files copyrights with the U.S. Library of Congress Copyright Office and trademarks with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and in England and the U.K. where he practiced law earlier in his career.
