Salton City has easy access to three California Counties; to the west is the town of Borrego Springs in San Diego County reached by driving through the inspiring badlands of the Anza Borrego Desert State Park, to the north are the cities of La Quinta, Palm Springs and Palm Desert in Riverside County and to the south is the Imperial County city of Brawley.
